Help
FantasyWEURO is a fantasy soccer game, that is entirely free to play, and follows the UEFA Women's EURO. Upon registering, you can arrange a squad containing a mixture of players from across the league. As players have an impact in the real-world, they score points in game. If those players are in your squad, you earn those points too.
Rules
Build your squad. Make the right transfers. Pick the perfect captain. Outscore the competition.
Here's how it all works.
📌 The Basics
This is a free-to-play, fantasy football game where you create and manage a virtual squad of real football players. Points are earned based on real-life performances, so every goal, assist, save, and shutout matters.
Rack up the most points over the tournament through smart player picks, tactical transfers, and bold captain choices. Do you have what it takes to be the ultimate Fantasy Manager?
We is not affiliated with UEFA, the UEFA Women's EURO 2025, nor are we, or do we claim to be, the official fantasy football game of either.
It is created by Even Sports, the team behind Fantasy WSL.
🎯 Team Selection
When you sign up, you’ll pick a squad of 15 players:
🧤 2 Goalkeepers
🛡️ 5 Defenders
🎩 5 Midfielders
⚡ 3 Forwards
You have a virtual budget of 100M to spend—so choose wisely. Players will vary in cost depending on their position, gameplay stats, and the performance of the clubs they play for. Your squad will be made up of players from across the tournament with a maximum of 3 players from an individual team*.
Each round, you pick your starting 11 team, and the rest sit on the bench. Beware: your bench players’ points won’t count (with a few exceptions - we’ll come on to this in a minute).
How many players in each position that you select each round is up to you, however you must have a minimum of 3 defenders, 3 midfielders, and 1 forward. You can have a maximum of 5 defenders, 5 midfielders, or 3 forwards.
- During later rounds, when there are less teams, this number will increase so you can always field a full team.
↔️ Auto-Substitutions
If a player in your starting 11 doesn’t play, a substitution will automatically be made from your bench. Players will be subbed on in the order you put them on your bench, so make sure to put your favored sub first! The only exception to this is when a substitution would breach the minimum requirement per position.
Goalkeepers can only be substituted for another goalkeeper.
⚽️ Rounds
The tournament is divided into rounds, each containing a group of games being played at a similar time – usually over the span of a single weekend.
The deadline for each round is 60 minutes before the beginning of its first match. The deadline for the next round is visible on the app when choosing your formation. You also have the opportunity to subscribe to push notifications, in which we'll remind you of the upcoming deadline.
Deadlines may change as matches if matches are moved. If a match is rescheduled, or postponed, too far into the future, we may move it into another round entirely. Unfortunately, due to the nature of why these games are postponed (e.g. bad weather), this can happen without notice.
If a fixture is moved to another round, your players will not earn any points for that fixture. Typically, this means they'll play two fixtures in a single round in future. In that case, they will earn the points for both fixtures.
The objective of the game is to predict who you think will perform the best, and arrange a team of players you think will all individually perform well. While you can transfer players, or update your formation, whenever you like, your changes will only become active from the following round.
Once the next deadline passes, your squad at that moment is frozen, and that squad is what will score you points.
👊 Knockout Stages
There are a few noticable differences to our other fantasy games due to the tournament format.
When a team is eliminated, their players will remain in your squad until you transfer them out. Transferring them out does not contribute to your 2 player cap each round.
In addition, the three player limit per club increases as the tournament progresses, so you can always field a full team. The club limits are as follows:
- Group stage - maximum 3 players per club.
- Quarter final - maximum 3 players per club.
- Semi final - maximum 4 players per club.
- Final - maximum 8 players per club.
📊 Scoring Points
Your players score points for what they do on the pitch. Here’s the breakdown:
⏳ Playing up to 60 mins = 1 pt
⏳ Playing 60+ mins = 1 pt
⚽ Goal (Forward) = 4 pts
⚽ Goal (Midfielder) = 5 pts
⚽ Goal (Defender/GK) = 6 pts
🎯 Assist = 3 pts
🧤 GK saves = 1 pt per 3 saves
🛡️ Clean sheet (GK/Def)* = 4 pts
🛡️ Clean sheet (Mid)* = 1 pt
🛡️ Goal line clearance = 1 pt
🚀 Penalty save = 5 pts
😬 Penalty miss = -2 pts
🟨 Yellow card = -1 pts
🟥 Red card = -3 pts
🙈 Own goal = -2 pts
Players continue to earn points during extra time. During penalty shootouts, different goal scoring points apply:
⚽ Goal = 2 pts
🧤 Winning the shootout (GK) = 6 pts
*A clean sheet is only awarded to a player who has played 60+ minutes in a game. If a player plays 60 minutes but is later substituted, they will keep their clean sheet points.
🌟 Bonus Points
In each match, the top three performing players will get up to three Bonus Points for their performance. Players are given scores based on skills such as pass accuracy and successful tackles, as well as goals and assists. The player with the highest score each match will get 3 points, the second-highest will get 2 points, and the third-highest will get 1 point.
©️ Captains and Vice Captains
Each round, you pick a Captain and a Vice-Captain for your squad. The Captain will earn double points for that week. If the Captain doesn’t play, the Vice-Captain’s points will be doubled instead. Pick wisely!
✨ Visionary Points
Got a hidden gem on your squad? They may be eligible for Visionary Points! 💫
A ‘Visionary’ is a player that featured in less than 2% of squads in the previous round. If a Visionary receives any points in a game beyond the points for minutes played, they will get an extra three points at the end of the game.
Visionary points are awarded per player, so the more Visionaries you have in your squad, the more chances you have to grab those extra points.
Visionaries fluctuate depending on how many people have them in their squad, so a player that is a Visionary one round is not guaranteed to be a Visionary the next round.
🔄 Transfers and Price Changes
You have two free transfers available each round, meaning you can trade a player from your squad for someone else, provided you have the virtual budget to do so. You don’t have to use both transfers, but if you don’t use them, you lose them until the next round.
Any additional transfers made will come at a cost of -4 points each, with one exception.
Because of the tournament format, some players will be unavailable after they have been eliminated from the tournament. Replacing eliminated players will not incur a transfer penalty.
Each round, players will go up or down in price depending on how many Fantasy Managers transfer them in or out of their team, and based on the number of teams remaining in the tournament. This means the more popular a player is, generally, the more they will cost.
Make sure you time your transfers strategically and spot talent before they become too pricey!
🔥 Tactics/Power-Ups
In other games we run, we offer a number of power-ups (or tactics) which have temporary effects on your team. Due to the short nature of the tournament, there are none available for this game.
⏰ Deadlines
Lock in your squad, Captain, and any Tactics 1 hour before the first match each week. Any changes after that? Too late—they’ll apply to the next Round.
🏆 Leagues
Create private leagues to battle against your friends and family! Each league has a unique code to enter, and you can make as many of these leagues as you like. You will be given your league code when you create the league.
Public leagues are also available to join. Every player will be automatically entered into the Overall league, as well as a league specifically for your favourite club. How high in the rankings can you go?
Verified Leagues are signified with a golden tick, and are leagues dedicated to supporters groups and content creators. The codes for these leagues will be set by the groups that run them, so head over to their socials for exclusive access.
📅 Tournament structure
The game runs from Wednesday, 2 July, 2025 to Sunday, 27 July, 2025, following the official UEFA Women's EURO season.
